Dr. Simon Hampton

Completed his primary medical degree through the University of Otago NZ 2011. After graduating he spent 7 yrs working in Hawkes Bay region NZ where he built experience in a wide range of specialties in hospital, including multiple surgical placements gaining experience in minor surgical techniques. He trained in General Practice, subspecialising in skin cancer through the Skin Cancer College Australasia and completed his GP fellowship in 2018.

In 2019 he decided to move to Queensland to further his interest in skin cancer medicine. He has worked in Brisbane 2019 – 2022 now to move permanently to the Gold Coast.

Dr Hampton is accredited with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, holding advanced qualifications in skin cancer surgery and dermoscopic skin cancer diagnosis. He is confident in performing a range of skin cancer procedures including general excisions, nail surgery, skin flap, skin graft surgeries. He is very experienced in non-surgical skin cancer management, and enjoys providing thorough skin checks.
