Cosmelan
Cosmelan has been designed to reduce the appearance of pigmentation, sun damage and uneven skin tone and brighten the skin in a non-invasive state of the art, intensive skin peel, followed by an at home maintenance plan and LED light therapies as part of a 6 month skin care program.
Cosmelan acts within the skin to address the effects of excess pigmentation to improve appearance, tone and texture. Through out the process you are reviewed by both our specialist registered nurse.
Who is an appropriate candidate for Cosmelan?
Cosmelan is available to both men and women suffering from pigmentation, melasma or any of the above mentioned skin conditions.
What will happen at my appointment?
After your initial appointment, you will have your Cosmelan peel applied by our specialist trained nurse.
They peel will be left on for 8 – 12 hours. Once the peel is applied you will head home and remove the peel at the appropriate time.
4 days after your peel you will come back to Skin Clinic Robina for a follow up appointment with our Nurse at which time you will receive a LED treatment.
What can I expect from my treatment?
Following your peel you may experience redness, tightness and swelling for up to 10 days. Your skin will then peel for at least a week.
Following the peeling process your skin will look fresh rejuvenated and pigment and blemish free. Your skin will continue to heal over the next 6 months as you continue your at home skin care routine and follow up appointments in clinic.
At the end of your 6 month skin care treatment you will be left with glowing, blemish-free, healthy, younger looking skin.
How often can I have treatment?
You can have Cosmelan treatment every 12 months.
